These licenses will not allow taxis to pick up passengers from the street, but only through digital applications. The estimated price per license is 6,376,000 Turkish Lira plus VAT, and the licenses will be valid for 29 years.
While the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's "Application-Based Taxi Model" continues to grow and expand throughout Istanbul, the tender process for the system's next phase is ongoing. The 10th tender under this model, which aims to improve service quality and strengthen digitalization in transportation, will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, at 11:00 AM at the Yenikapı Event Area.
