A fire broke out on the fourth and fifth floors of the Shyam Sangini Textile Market in the Saroli area of Surat. The blaze was so intense that smoke filled both floors. Clothing and other items stored in the walkways also began to burn. Around 15 fire engines are on the scene. Hydraulic platforms and turntable ladders are being used to extinguish the fire.
