In Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district, 35-year-old Mehmet S., who set fire to his yarn workshop, threw pieces of wood and spools of yarn at police officers who arrived at the scene. While firefighters extinguished the blaze, a bystander attempted to attack the arrested workshop owner.
The man, allegedly the owner of a two-story yarn workshop in the Defterdar neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, started a fire on the roof in the evening and threw spools of yarn around. The man, who was taken into custody by the police and fire department, was caught on camera during the incident; the workplace was damaged in the fire.
