Marymount University is in the midst of celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. But were it not for a little-remembered Arlington County Board vote, the university might have been forced to depart the county a half-century ago. Fate, and perhaps prayer, intervened. The university won the down-to-the-wire, 3-2 vote in large part due to the
