Jan T., former director of the Roads and Transportation Department in Krakow, was wrongfully sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in prison for corruption. The court found that between 2004 and 2007, the official accepted bribes worth over 550 thousand zlotys from construction company Budostal 5, which participated in public tenders. The trial in this case lasted almost 15 years.
