On Friday, August 1, the red ribbon was cut for an events venue– a hidden gem along the country roads of northern Titus County. The Retreat at Sugarhill has been in business since 2022, but owners Crystal and Sean Hughes said that they’ve been working towards a red ribbon cutting and becoming more involved with the community ever since they moved from North Texas.
