The European Football Federation (Uefa) has announced the names of three nominees for this year's Best Player of the Year award. The shortlisted are Frenchman Karim Benzema and Belgium's Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid and Belgium's Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City). The winner will be unveiled by Uefa on August 25 in Istanbul for the Champions League draw.
