Lithuania is investing in a new military camp to accommodate soldiers of the Bundeswehr and other NATO countries. The Bundeswehr is to move in with a brigade.
A new camp will be built at the Rūdninkai military training ground to accommodate soldiers from Germany and other NATO allies arriving during the exercises, the Ministry of National Defence announced on Thursday.
The new facility will be located just 16 km from the Belarusian border and will be able to use more than a thousand troops at the same time
It is Lithuania's plan to call at half a race of Rudninkai near the cordon of Bilorussus, new to the Italian tablet for the non - German soldiers in the same NATO country.
