The IR 1881 train, which runs between Bucharest North and Constanta, stopped for about two hours and 20 minutes, on Saturday, after a man was injured, on the Baneasa — Pantelimon section, CFR Infrastructure officials stating that the railway station could not continue its journey before the completion of the investigation at the scene of the accident.

The fatal accident took place on Saturday, around 11.50, on the Baneasa - Pantelimon railway line, CFR said in a press release. “Around 11.50 a.m., the train IR 1881, which runs on the Bucharest North - Constanta connection, captures on the Băneasa - Pantelimon railway line, at km 14+500, a male person, who is fatally injured,” said CFR.
