97th Annual Old Settlers Reunion set for May 16
In May of 1890 Floyd County officially detached itself from Crosby County and was declared “fully established” by the State of Texas. Less than 40 years later, residents organized the first celebration of Floyd County’s pioneering days by establishing what has become the Old Settlers Reunion.
