- In Bannu, another intelligence-based operation neutralised five khawarij, recovered weapons and ammunition, and sanitisation operations were underway to clear the area.
- The Pakistan Foreign Office summoned Kabul's deputy head of mission and issued a demarche on December 19, stating it reserves the right to defend its sovereignty and respond to terrorism from Afghan soil.
