Despite the ongoing trade war and worsening relations between the U.S. and Canada, 80 per cent of Canadians would still send disaster relief across the border.

This research gauged the opinion of Canadians on their levels of support for Canadian first responders going to the US to help after major natural disasters. Nanos conducted an RDD dual frame (land- and cell-lines) hybrid telephone and online random survey of 1,104 Canadians, 18 years of age or older, from July 28th to 30th, 2026 as part of an omnibus survey.
