750 leprosy colonies in India still remain segregated from mainstream society: Official

There are still 750 leprosy colonies in India that need to be integrated into mainstream society, according to S Govindaraj, Commissioner at CCPD. Officials, experts, and advocates at a World Leprosy Day seminar called for collective efforts to end discrimination, improve early detection, and ensure comprehensive rehabilitation.
