630.000 Non-Swimmers in Austria

Around 630,000 people from the age of five can't swim in Austria, the Board of Trustees for Traffic Safety (KFV) announced on Friday. 137,000 children and young people from the age of five to 19 have no knowledge of swimming. Compared to the past few years, a further slight deterioration in the proportion of non-swimmers shows in particular among the eleven and twelve-year-olds to nine percent.
