According to the website of the Turkish Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness Agency, the quake occurred at 11.02 a.m. (3:00 p.m.), a depth of 6.97 kilometers, and the epicenter was 27.65 kilometers from the Turkish state of İzmir, without any damage being reported.
