A total of 45 loggerhead turtle hatchlings were born this morning on Muchavista del Campello beach. At 1:20 am, the little ones began to emerge from the nest. By 4:00 am, 45 had already been born, and after being measured and weighed, and having verified that their state of health was excellent, they were released into the sea.
The beach of Muchavista de El Campello has lived this morning one of the most expected moments of the last few weeks: 44 suckling turtles have been born and have already embarked on their way to the sea. The nest, located last July 29 at the height of the Rincón de la Zofra, contains a total of 61 eggs, so that the surveillance is maintained before the possible hatching of new specimens.
