44 abused dogs discovered - suspect in custody

After 44 neglected dogs were discovered during a house search in Ansfelden (Linz-Land district) on Friday, the homeowner was remanded in custody, the police announced on Monday. The 45-year-old was also found with 26 firearms, 51 magazines and over 8,500 pieces of ammunition, various drugs, counterfeit money and Nazi religious items.
