- The Trinamool Congress asked local units to run neighbourhood 'May I Help You' camps and set up help desks for documentation and form-filling, while volunteers will visit homes to assist with claims and objections hearings expected shortly.
- Senior party leaders said wards 70, 72 and 77 with unusually high deletions will get special attention as the party fears affected voters in Bhabanipur were wrongly excluded.
- The deletions across south Kolkata mean four assembly segments recorded over 2.16 lakh deletions, adding to tensions as West Bengal moves toward the 2026 assembly polls.
