The Friends of Bangor Garth Pier (FBGP) are launching an appeal to raise £40,000 to complete the essential work on the substructure of the pier to make it safe and protect it for generations to come. Bangor Pier is one of only three Grade II* listed piers in the whole of the UK and is of architectural and historical significance as a Victorian gem.
