4 hospitalized after racing vehicles crash along I-395, Virginia police say

Three people were hospitalized, two seriously, following a pair of early morning crashes in Fairfax County on Sunday. Around 3:43 a.m., the driver of a Toyota Camry heading west in the Express Lanes lost control of their car, struck the jersey wall, and came to a stop in the left travel lane. As a result of the crash, the Camry lost all power and went dark. Moments later, a Ranger Rover traveling in theleft lane struck the Camries. The crash caused two passengers in the SUV, who were not wearing their seatbelts, to be thrown from the vehicle. They were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
