4 dead in small plane crash near Colorado ski resort community of Steamboat Springs

- Routt County officials said search-and-rescue teams recovered four bodies and the coroner is identifying victims to notify next of kin, while the crash site remains cordoned off and NTSB investigators are en route.
- The FAA expects a preliminary report in about 30 days as NTSB investigators document the scene and focus on the pilot, aircraft and operating environment.
