Armed criminal gangs have killed at least 37 people in two days in attacks on a rural area in the state of Sukutu in north-western Nigeria. For years, gangs have been active in northern and central Nigeria, abducting for ransom and stealing cattle, called bandits, attacking villages, abducting and killing people, and burning houses after looting.
