31-Hectare High-Voltage Substation Lands in Rural Area of Batenburg and Hernen: Larger than the Village Itself

The decision has been made. The new, large high-voltage substation in the municipality of Wijchen is to be located east of Batenburg and west of Hernen. This is evident from a letter to local residents, in the possession of De Gelderlander.
