Nearly 300,000 concrete hedgehogs are scheduled to be transported to northern and eastern Poland by mid-October 2026. The Ministry of National Defense reports that operations have already covered 100 km of sensitive sections of the border, and by the end of the year, over 200 km of the border should be secured. According to the ministry, the East Shield is entering a mass scaling phase.
