BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — First responders rescued a group of people who were trapped in the floodwaters in Burlington Sunday night. A vehicle was submerged in water at Tucker Street and Chapel Hill Road. Emergency teams were able to pull three people from cars and get them onto rafts to transport them to dry land.
