- Search teams used sonar devices, cadaver dogs and K-9 units alongside excavators and heavy equipment to search the collapsed basement, where responders described a major structural collapse.
- Governor Josh Shapiro visited the site, praised first responders, and said `This is the Pennsylvania way, neighbours helping neighbours in a moment of need` as authorities classified the scene a Level 2 Mass Casualty and urged the public to avoid the area.
- Certified for up to 174 beds, the nursing home typically houses more than 50 patients, and the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania supported nearly two dozen families after the explosion.
