Billion Claims Against Benko Also as Ex-Entrepreneur

In his insolvency as an entrepreneur, the founder of the collapsed Signa Group, Rene Benko, has also accumulated record debts when it comes to the amount of claims filed, which amounts to 2.7 billion euros. This was reported by ORF Radio on Wednesday evening, invoking Creditreform, the creditor protection association. Until now, however, only claims of 47 million euros have been recognised, while Benko claimed to have own funds of 300,000 euros.
