Late Field Goal Powers B.C. Lions to 27-24 Victory over Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Sean Whyte hit a 24-yard winner with 28 seconds left as Nathan Rourke threw for 370 yards in his return from injury.
- On Saturday, veteran kicker Sean Whyte sent a 24-yard field goal through the uprights with 28 seconds left, lifting the B.C. Lions to a 27-24 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at BC Place.
- Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke returned from a shoulder injury to pass for 370 yards and two touchdowns, while Hamilton quarterback Harrison Frost threw for 239 yards in his first start, replacing injured Bo Levi Mitchell.
- Horvath added two touchdowns for the Lions, while Hamilton's Jake Dolegala scored two majors on short-yardage plays. McInnis also recorded a major for B.C. in the back-and-forth contest.
