PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two surfers were rescued Tuesday afternoon just as the season's first king tides start to roll in. Just before 1:45 p.m., Cannon Beach Firefighters responded to a report of two surfers in distress at Indian Beach in Ecola State Park. With the help of police, firefighters used a drone to locate the surfers. A water rescue team was able to bring them back to shore safely in about 15 minutes, according to a press release. A …
