2-alarm fire heavily damages Cumberland home

CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WPRI) — Four people evacuated their Cumberland home after a two-alarm fire broke out Monday morning. A neighbor driving by the home on Camp Street saw a porch fire just before 6:30 a.m. Cumberland Fire Chief Nicholas Anderson said the neighbor alerted the homeowners and then called 911.
