CM Yogi highlights state's textile heritage, industrial potential at UP Textile Conclave in Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday highlighted the state's rich textile heritage and industrial potential, saying Uttar Pradesh has skilled manpower, a large market, industry, entrepreneurship and the world's youngest workforce.
At the UP Textile Conclave, CM Yogi said the textile sector is the second largest employment generator after agriculture. He added that PM Modi has set a target of creating a $350 billion textile economy by 2030. This goal will only be achieved if Uttar Pradesh participates fully. 17 textile products from Uttar Pradesh have received the GI tag. Watch the video.
