16-year-old Hyannis boy connected to Cape Cod shootings, police say

A 16-year-old boy from Hyannis was arrested on Cape Cod early Tuesday morning after police said he hurt multiple people in two separate shootings over the course of a month. The Hyannis teen was arraigned in Barnstable Juvenile Court on Tuesday, and was detained pending a dangerousness hearing on July 12. He was charged with two counts of assault to murder with a firearm, assault and battery with a firearms and accessory before and after the fact.
