Early on a cold and gray Saturday morning on Main Street in Parkville, the flags were at half mast. The one in front of American Legion Post 318 seemed sad at the loss of one of their most beloved members, Parkville’s iconic Bill Grigsby, age 89. Grigsby was best known as being a longtime radio announcer for the Kansas City Chiefs.
