PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A 15-year-old boy on Tuesday was ordered held pending allegations he shot a 9-year-old earlier this year during an attempted car burglary. Javon L. Smith was initially charged in the juvenile division of Peoria County Circuit Court not long after the Feb. 2 shooting in the RiverWest neighborhood. But that case has been on hold as State's Attorney Jodi Hoos had asked a judge to move the case into the adult felony division. …
