A court in Bihor awarded 1.3 million euros in compensation to a child killed on a pedestrian crossing. The driver was drunk, speeding and tried to flee the scene of the accident. The 12-year-old child was seriously injured and, after suffering for several weeks, died in hospital. "We can't talk about a win, I lost everything in life," says the teenager's mother.
