An arrest has been made in connection to an alleged stabbing on a Bay Area Rapid Transit train in Oakland, police said.

A 64-year-old man was stabbed at his home in the Noordakker in Oostakker on Thursday. A suspect has been arrested by the Ghent police and is being brought before the investigating judge.

A suspect with heroin has been arrested at Dangdeniya Watta area of Moratuwa Police. A total of 440 ml of heroin in his possession have been taken into police custody.
