The Aston Martin Valhalla Spider Can Still Do 217 MPH With Its Top Off
The open-top supercar keeps the coupe’s 1,064-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain and uses revised aerodynamics to reach 217 mph without the roof.
Aston Martin unveiled the Valhalla Spider, a topless version of its hybrid supercar, making its public debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas this weekend.
The Spider retains the 1,064-horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain from the coupe, pairing a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 with three electric motors for high-performance output.
With the roof removed, the Spider achieves a 217 mph top speed, supported by a new three-piece wind deflector designed to channel airflow and maintain cabin comfort.
Aston Martin has not finalized pricing, though the coupe starts at $1,051,700, with buyers choosing between a stowable fabric roof or an optional carbon-fiber hardtop.
Designed with a carbon-fiber tub using F1-derived technology, the Spider features new touring seats that improve entry and exit, positioning it as a refined road-trip supercar.
Aston Martin's Supersport has been given a Spider variant. Thanks to sophisticated aerodynamics, it can perform at its best with the roof down. This makes it the brand's fastest open-top car in its history.
