Taxes · AtlantaATLANTA – Georgia’s net tax collections rose by 3.2% last month compared to August of last year, the state Department of Revenue reported Tuesday. The agency brought in $2.41 billion in tax revenue in August, an increase of nearly $74.1 million over the same month a year ago.
