A magnitude 4.0 earthquake shook the Ucayali region this morning, reported by the Peruvian Geophysical Institute (IGP) on its website.
The earthquake's epicenter, felt at 1:02 a.m., was located 31 kilometers southwest of Aguaytía, in Padre Abad province, at a depth of 25 kilometers.
According to the IGP, the shaking was felt with a Mercalli intensity of III on the scale in Aguaytía town.
