Fiza Anjum Bags First Place in Vachana Recitation

HANGAL, Aug 21: Fiza Anjum Bukkitagar, a student from Prabhakar Nelavagi High School, secured the first place in the taluk-level vachana recitation competition held at Gurupadeshwar Viraktamath in Bommanahalli of Hangal taluk recently. She recited a total of 152 vachanas during the competition, out of which 126 were flawless. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000.
