As a father, grandfather, pastor and president of Christian Unified Schools the tragedy that is unfolding in Minneapolis today hits close to home. Schools should be a haven for learning, growth and enjoyment. Parents and children should not live in fear of going to school. While that fear is tragic enough, to have the solemn moments of mass shattered by violence and end in death and destruction is an indescribable heartbreak.
