Zendure launches plug-in solar range in UK following rule changes
The range starts at £1,099 and includes battery systems that can expand to 16.8kWh for households facing higher electricity bills.
Zendure chief executive Bryan Liu announced the SolarFlow range launch in Great Britain, featuring an 800W plug-in kit designed for the UK's new regulatory framework.
Ofgem increased the energy price cap at the start of October, prompting households to seek solutions that reduce energy usage and lower bills during rising costs.
Unlike traditional rooftop solar, the system mounts on walls or balconies and plugs directly into standard household sockets. Zendure says the larger capacity could power a typical UK home for up to two days.
All storage systems are managed through Zendure's software using AI technology to analyze household consumption and electricity tariffs. Both systems start with 2.4kWh storage and expand to 16.8kWh for larger requirements.
The SolarFlow Pro works alongside existing rooftop systems, while the SolarFlow Mix includes a backup power outlet for essential appliances during power cuts.
