Zara Billionaire Ortega to Draw Record Dividend of €3.2 Billion
(Bloomberg) — Amancio Ortega is set to collect about €3.2 billion ($3.7 billion) in dividends this year from Zara owner Inditex SA, the biggest such payout the billionaire has received from the retail giant he co-founded more than six decades ago.
The company increased its profit by 6% during 2025 with sales of 39,864 million euros.
The founder and majority shareholder of Inditex, Amancio Ortega, will receive this year 3,234 million euros in dividends from the company, above the 3,104 million euros that he received for this concept last year.Continue reading...
