More than 1,700 degrees were conferred as Ambassador Mike Huckabee urged graduates to lead with faith, courage and conviction.
On Thursday, Yeshiva University held its 95th annual commencement at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, where more than 5,000 attendees gathered as the institution conferred more than 1,700 degrees to the Class of 2026.
United States Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee delivered the keynote address and received the Presidential Medallion, Yeshiva University's highest honor, while emphasizing the enduring bond between America and Israel.
Honorees and graduates wore Blue Square pins from Robert Kraft's Blue Square Alliance Against Hate to demonstrate solidarity against antisemitism, displaying them alongside American and Israeli flags.
Coach Bruce Pearl made a surprise appearance praising student-athletes, while performer Joey Newcomb led a musical celebration that crescendoed when Huckabee joined the band on bass guitar.
Yeshiva University President Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman opened the ceremony discussing the institution's 140-year role in higher education and its commitment to preparing graduates anchored in moral clarity.
