Chris Brown's Former Housekeeper Wants To Seize His Usher Tour Earning

- On Thursday, former housekeeper Maria Avila filed a motion to seize profits from Chris Brown's ongoing 'The R&B Tour' with Usher to satisfy an unpaid $13 million judgment.
- A Los Angeles-area jury awarded Avila $13 million in June after finding Brown liable for injuries sustained when his dog, a Caucasian shepherd named Hades, mauled her in 2020.
- Attorney Nancy Doumanian stated in a July 23 court motion that Brown and his company "have made no effort to satisfy any portion of the judgment" in the last month.
- The motion requests a judge earmark tour earnings, music royalties, licensing revenue, merchandising and sponsorship deals if current touring profits prove insufficient to cover the full amount.
- Representatives for Brown did not return a request for comment on Monday, as the filing coincides with headlines about the singer's unrelated guilty plea for an assault in London.
