It was like wrestling with a dinosaur, that's how Leah Stewart described her fight for her life with a four-meter great white shark. The marine predator attacked her on June 13 this year on the beach in Coogee, a well-known seaside suburb about eight kilometers from Sydney. The woman escaped the fight with serious injuries and doctors had to amputate the lower part of her left arm, writes the website of the newspaper The Independent.
Like many others, the 34-year-old mother was swimming near the shore in the crystal-clear waters of Australia when she spotted a huge fin in the distance. The shark attacked her within moments.
