Mom, Pregnant Teen and 12-Year-Old Found Bound and Killed in Their Alabama Home

Investigators said the victims were bound and killed overnight, while an 18-month-old child in the home was left unharmed.

  • Deputies responding to a welfare check early Monday discovered three victims bound in separate rooms within a Wilmer, Alabama home, Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch confirmed. The victims were identified as 46-year-old Lisa Gail Fields, her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Arionna Luker, and 12-year-old son Thomas Cordelle Jr.
  • All victims were found with their hands bound behind them using zip ties or flex cuffs, indicating perpetrators arrived prepared with restraints. Burch believes more than one person participated due to the difficulty of restraining multiple victims at once.
  • Each victim suffered a different fatal injury: Fields was stabbed, Luker was shot, and Thomas Cordelle Jr.'s throat was cut. Luker was pregnant at the time, with her father telling WALA, "We lost everyone for nothing."
  • An 18-month-old child was discovered unharmed inside the home after Luker's father became concerned when she stopped answering her phone and called 911. No suspects have been identified, though investigators told WALA they are pursuing positive leads in the case.
  • While the home showed signs of being searched and left in disarray, authorities have not confirmed a robbery motive. Burch ruled out domestic or family involvement, though authorities mentioned a potential history of drug activity without drawing conclusions about motive.
