The University of Michigan softball team came out on the losing end of a pitchers' duel, 4-0, in the series opener against Northwestern on Friday night (April 3) at the Ballpark at Rosemont. NU scored all four of its runs in the fifth inning, while it was the Wolverines' first shutout loss of the season.
