Wind Advisory issued for Elk County

A Wind Advisory has been issued for Elk County and will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday, March 25 until 5 a.m. Sunday, March 26, according to the National Weather Service in State College.

Wind advisory in effect for Wood County on Saturday

Wood County will be under a wind advisory from 10a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. A round of heavy rain is expected late Friday night into Saturday morning, according to a Friday update by the Wood County Emergency Management Agency. Additionally, strong southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts to 55 mph will develop Saturday morning and continue through Saturday evening, diminishing Saturday night. Wind advisory issued for Cameron and Willacy counties

A wind advisory issued for inland Willacy and Cameron counties and coastal Willacy and Cameron Counties has been extended until 3 p.m. today. Southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected to continue during this time, the National Weather Service in Brownsville/Rio Grande Valley reports.
