Winter storm watch for Oregon for Wednesday and Thursday – gusts could peak at 40 mph
On Monday at 10:09 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch valid from Wednesday 5 a.m. until Thursday 5 p.m. for Eastern Douglas County Foothills, South Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.The weather service informs, “Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations 10 to 20 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph over high and exposed terrain.”
